Some months back I was offered an opportunity that I am very excited about. Jim Holmes and James Avery have a book to be published in November titled Windows Developer Power Tools: Turbocharge Windows Development with More Than 140 Free and Open Source Tools.
A few months Jim contacted me about contributing to the book, and I was able to contribute two chapters. One on the "Less MSIĆ©rables" utility (aka "lessmsi") I developed as well as a chapter about XamlPad. It was a great experience in every way: Challenging, educational, and a joy to write about software development tools! I am grateful to Jim for inviting me to contribute and thrilled about what looks to be a wealth of resources for Windows developers. I am anxiously awaiting the final release and I hope you will enjoy the book !
