More Quantum Gossip...

An article was released today about how scientists are freezing gas down to an almost 'absolute zero' state to study how quantum systems work. ~80 years ago Albert Einstein and Satyendra Nath Bose predicted that gases of atoms would work in unison when cooled down very close to absolute zero. Today we are able to verify these predictions with actual working systems. Scientists can now verify calculations that have been predicted over the years with actual test cases.

"A one-dimensional Tonks-Girardeau gas is one of very few many-particle systems that can be exactly solved mathematically," says Weiss. "This was done in the '60s, but there had been no experimental system."

I can't wait to start seeing the actual big breakthroughs in this technology! I have a feeling it will start getting a lot of attention soon. We'll see...
