Wireless Networking

Ok, so I got high speed internet a couple of weeks ago and I love it. Unfortunately my wife has not been able to take advantage of it as much as I have. She is mommying all day long and cannot take the girls down to the dungeon to get online. Well last night I figured I would get a wireless router and call it a day. Of course if you are going to get a wireless router, you have to get the best. :) (That is what I told her anyway...) I ended up getting a NetGear WGT624 108 Mbps Wireless Firewall Router from BestBuy. Once I got home, I got it setup down in the basement and to my suprise, my laptop had the wrong adapter in it (some Xircom CardBus from the 90's), so I went on line and found the matching adapter to be complient with my new beefy router. I ended up getting a WG511T 108 Mbps Wireless PC Card from Buy.com and it should be arriving tomorrow.

I was so procrastinating this wireless thing for a couple of weeks because I thought it was going to be a pain in the butt to get configured and yada yada, but I was wrong; it was easy! God bless help files and documentation.
